Para Thai

One of Suria KLCC’s latest eateries, Para Thai serves up authentic Thai cuisine to quell your cravings. A visit to Para Thai is like taking a culinary trip around Thailand while the freshness and bonafide flavours are constantly maintained and ensured. Para Thai’s Instagram-worthy interior at Suria KLCC is exclusive to the mall, reflecting culinary tradition while incorporating the modern, vibrant spirit of Thailand with its specially imported wood-crafted interiors, brick walls, bamboo café lamps and modern elephant motif.
Southern Thailand
Try Para Thai’s Steamed Sea Bass in a piquant lime and chili sauce, a perennial favourite with diners. Or else, the Pad Thai, a dish attributed to the Chanthaburi province but really invented in the 1930s by the then Prime Minister of Thailand, Plaek Phibunsongkhram, as a means of nation building. Tom Yum, too, is a firm favourite with diners and at Para Thai, this is served with fresh sea prawns. Para Thai also prides itself with the unique Tom Yum Coke drink that can only be found at the restaurant.
Northern Thailand
Papaya salad is the mainstay of the Isaan region in Northern Thailand and at Para Thai, they do it differently, heightening its flavours by presenting it as a Deep Fried Papaya Salad. Mieng Kham, condiments wrapped in betel nut, was a royal treat said to have been created by Princess Dara Rasmi in the court of King Rama V. At Para Thai, a special Mieng Kham Fish is served.
